Typhoid fever outbreak in Tamil Nadu, India

An outbreak of typhoid fever involving 16 people has been reported in Ram Nagar in Madipakkam. Travellers to any area where there are cases of typhoid fever can reduce their risk of exposure by being cautious and avoiding consuming food or water that is contaminated.
