Wild fires along east coast of Spain

Towns and tourist areas in the Costa Blanca area along the east coast of Spain have been evacuated due to fires that were set deliberately in three different places between Javea and Benitachell.

Advice

If you are travelling to the Benitachell and Javea areas of Spain, check with your tour company or accommodation to determine whether or not you can travel in the area and if your accommodation is available. Many areas have been evacuated.
