UPDATE: COVID-19 Curbs Introduced in Several Areas of Hainan - China

As of 8 August, Sanya, Haikou, Ledong, Chengmai, Danzhou, Lingshui, Wanning and Qionghai remain under lockdowns. Introduced to align with China’s zero-COVID-19 policy, the easing of restrictions will differ on a case-by-case basis.

Wear facemasks when stepping outside for essential travel. 24-hour COVID-19 nucleic acid tests remain mandatory for entry to public places. Public transport services may remain suspended. Follow the advice of local authorities.
