Magnitude 6.3 Earthquake Strikes Meta - Colombia

On 17 August, at 12:04 hours (local time), a 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck about 17 km from Cumaral. The major earthquake was followed by several strong aftershocks. Damages to property have been reported. Evacuations are underway.
