Water Rationing Measures in Bogotá, Cundinamarca - Colombia

Effective 11 April, water rationing measures will be implemented on a rotational basis in Bogotá and eleven surrounding municipalities due to the impact of water scarcity. The decision to extend the measure will be evaluated every 15 days. Affected municipalities include Soacha, Funza, Madrid, Cota, Mosquera, La Calera, Chía, Cajicá, Sopó, Gachancipá, Tocancipá and zones 1,2,3,4 and 5 of Bogota.

Expect and prepare for disruptions caused by interrupted water supply. Travellers are advised to follow the instructions of local authorities. While travelling, carry extra drinking water to avoid inconvenience.
