As of 10 August, the Canyon Fire in Ventura County has burned nearly 5,400 acres and forced thousands of evacuations as it spread into Los Angeles County. The blaze is 25% contained, with extreme heat and low humidity fueling its growth. Containment efforts are ongoing.
