Supporters of the ex-president, Evo Morales, continue to block main roads and highways causing food and fuel shortages, particularly in La Paz. At least three people were killed and 22 injured in Senkata when security forces cleared access to a gas plant that had been barricaded by protesters.

The ex-president resigned on 10 November. His supporters have held protests and more than 20 people have been killed in the violence. Some countries are advising travellers to avoid any unnecessary travel to Bolivia until the situation normalizes.
