Travellers must apply for a Bermuda COVID-19 Travel Authorisation 1 to 3 days before departure and cannot travel to Bermuda without an approved Travel Authorization.
Is a test required on arrival?

All inbound travellers (including citizens, residents and other visitors) will undergo PCR COVID-19 testing at the L.F. Wade International Airport upon arrival. Children below age 10 are exempted from this requirement.
- After getting the result of the test taken on arrival, arrivals will also need to get tested on 4th, 8th, and 14th day after arrival.

All arrivals will have a mandatory non-contact temperature check upon arrival.

PCR test certificates obtained outside of Bermuda are accepted. Antigen, antibody, and rapid test results will not be accepted.

Visitors must have a certified PCR COVID-19 test with a negative result taken within 72 hours of departure from their point of origin, but no more than seven days before departure.

Bermuda residents and work permit holders are not required to have a test before travelling to Bermuda. Residents (including work permit holders) who do not have a pre-departure negative PCR COVID-19 test result must self-quarantine.
Is quarantine required on arrival?

Visitors and residents who completed a PCR test prior to arrival will only need to quarantine until their test on arrival results have been sent to them. If they are negative, they can leave quarantine.

All inbound travellers, including residents without the pre-departure negative test, must quarantine for eight days. After eight days, they will be tested and released from their quarantine period if their test result is negative.

Anyone showing symptoms, testing positive, or not taking any tests will be quarantined for 14 days at their expense.

Travellers are required to have health insurance to cover COVID-19 related expenses. Travellers without health insurance will be responsible for all COVID-19 associated costs, including quarantine, testing and treatment.

Visitors and residents are required to complete the Bermuda travel authorization available online for residents here and for tourists here 48 hours prior to their arrival. A fee is required, which includes the cost of the PCR COVID-19 testing conducted in Bermuda.
