India: Terrorists Attack Security Forces in Srinagar

On 23 October, suspected terrorists threw two petrol bombs at security forces at a market in the Batmaloo area of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. No injuries have been reported thus far.

Due to political tensions and security concerns, some countries advise against all travel to the city of Srinagar, the Srinagar-Jammu national highway and to the border with Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir.
