Netherlands Urges Citizens to Leave Iran

The Dutch government has warned Dutch citizens to leave Iran as soon as they can safely do so. The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs updated its warning for Iran despite already placing the country on the list of locations considered to be the riskiest for travel. This is in response to the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel. The foreign ministry will continue to monitor the situation in Iran and will consider taking extra measures for the travel advisory, if necessary.

Many countries advise against all travel to Iran and the Palestinian Territories due to the unstable safety and security situation. Most countries advise against non-essential travel to Israel as well. Due to the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict and the recent attack by Iran, travel in/to countries in the Middle East may be impacted. Stay updated with the current geopolitical situation.
