Extensive flooding in New South Wales, Australia

Days of heavy rains have caused extensive flooding in New South Wales in the worst flooding in a quarter of a century. The rural town of Forbes has been heavily affected, and 1,000 residents were forced to evacuate. Although the rain has now eased, the flood waters are expected to remain for much of this week.
