More deaths in Tripoli, Lebanon

Sniper fire in Tripoli killed at least 2 people and wounded several others. Tensions have escalated between rival neighbourhoods, mainly in Sunni areas of Riva and Baqqar and the predominately Alawite neighborhood of Jabal Mohsen.

Several countries advise their citizens to avoid all travel to Tripoli and North Lebanon due to the unpredictable personal security situation and violent armed conflict associated with the Syrian civil war.
