Avanti West Coast Workers Strike - UK

On 31 December and 2 January, Avanti West Coast workers affiliated with the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) will hold strike action due to a dispute over rest day working. They will also hold strike action on every Sunday from 12 January to 25 May. Avanti West Coast operates trains between London and Scotland and through the West Midlands and north west of England. The strikes are likely to cause significant disruption to customers.
