Temporary Border Checks Introduced - Norway

On 12 October, Norwegian authorities announced the introduction of temporary border checks on the country’s frontiers with other Western European nations after the domestic security agency raised the terror threat level. The Norwegian Police Security Service increased Norway’s threat level from “moderate” to “high” on 8 October due to an increased threat to Jewish and Israeli targets in particular. The checks will apply until 22 October. An extension is possible.
