Attack in Eringeti, DRC, leaves at least 25 dead

Ugandan rebels killed at least 25 people in an overnight attack on military headquarters and hospital in the town of Eringeti.

Some countries advise against all travel to eastern and northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo, with the exception of the towns of Bukavu and Goma. The Ugandan rebels have conducted a series of attacks in North Kivu. More than 500 civilians have been killed since October 2014.
