Bomb explosions around south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

According to early reports, at least 6 people have been killed and at least 13 injured in 15 explosions around south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Liucheng county and Liuzhou city. Authorities report that “parcel bombs” exploded.

Advice For Travellers

Avoid public areas in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region at this time. The explosions are reported to have occurred at a shopping mall, a prison, a county government office, a supermarket, a transport station, a hospital, a staff dormitory of animal husbandry, a vegetable market, and a disease control center.

The public has been warned not to open any packages.
