UPDATE - Bomb Threats at Multiple Airports - France

On 19 October, multiple airports across France received anonymous bomb threats. Several flights were delayed or diverted. The threats were deemed to be harmless.

Currently, the Vigipirate level has been raised to the maximum level of “emergency attack” across France.

Other similar incidents and threats are possible over the coming days.

The Justice Minister has called for a crack down on pranksters behind the false bomb alerts that have caused chaos at airports and tourist sites across the country.

Reach the airport well in advance and prepare for delays due to extensive security checks. Contact the airport and stay informed about the status of disruptions, if any. Be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the concerned authorities.
