Deadly bomb attack on church on Nigerian forces base

Two car bombs were detonated in an attack on a church inside military barracks in Jaji. Eleven people were killed and 30 were wounded. Although no one has claimed responsibility, the Islamic Boko Haram group has carried out similar attacks on churches in the recent past. Travellers should avoid all travel in northeastern Nigeria due to the lack of personal security in what is an area with on-going armed conflict.
