Deadly meningitis outbreak in Guinea

There have been reports of 28 deaths and 212 cases of suspected meningitis, in 15 districts, especially in the East, South and North areas. In the East, the Haute-Guinée region has reported the most deaths. Travellers can reduce the risk of exposure to meningitis by obtaining avaccination against meningitis prior to travelling to these areas.
