Philippines - 2,332 cases. Most affected municipalities include Quezon, Manila, Caloocan, Paranaque, Pasig, Pasay, Malabon, and Valenzuela.
Singapore - more than 490 cases; Increasing trend.
Fiji - 238 cases; Increasing trend.
Solomon Islands - more than 2,500 cases; 3 deaths; Increasing trend

There may be many more unreported cases since counting andreporting may be hampered by lack of local access to health care, and manypersons with mild illness may not seek health care. Travellers to areas wherethe dengue fever virus is active can reduce their risk of exposure to denguefever virus by taking all necessary precautions to avoid mosquito bites.
