Finland airport service workers strike on March 5 and 6 to affect Finnair service

In Finland, airport service workers will strike on March 5 and 6. Significant impact is expected on Finnair operations although the airline is not a party to the labour dispute. Cancelled routes are mainly domestic flights, except for the Helsinki and Gothenburgh, Sweden, route.

Finnair has issued a statement that all passengers should prepare for delays all day on Monday, March 6. On-board food service will be very limited. Finnair recommends that customers travel with carry-on luggage only since baggage handling will be affected.
