On 12-13 December, a severe storm was reported in southeast Queensland, which has caused flash flooding and power outages in Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast. At least 11,000 homes have been affected in Southport, Runaway Bay, Labrador and Biggera Waters, and Paradise Point.
