France: Natural disaster declared for flooding

After torrential rain and flooding, the Seine River has reached the highest level in 35 years in Paris. It could take weeks for the river to recede. Some parks are closed. The Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, Grand Palais and other museums have been closed as a preventive measure. River cruises are not available at this time. Some areas are without power.
