Fuel shortages continue in Nepal

The fuel shortage in Nepal is continuing due to protests in the southern provinces that have caused blockages at the borders. There is now a growing shortage of other essential supplies throughout the country.

Travellers should check with tour operators to determine if travels will be affected by these shortages. Medical supplies and medical evacuation services could be compromised. Services will not be completely restored until at least 2 to 3 weeks after normal supply lines are resumed.
