Heavy Rainfall and Flooding Continue to Affect Several States

Continuous heavy rainfall and associated flooding have been disrupting the Indian states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala. While fresh floods have been reported from Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal states. Additionally, the weather department has issued severe weather warnings for Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and western Himalayan region over the coming days.
