Over 6,000 deaths from measles have been reported in the Democratic Republic of Congo since January 2019. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 310,000 measles cases have been reported in the country. The measles outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo is the world’s worst measles epidemic.
