Protests expected in Kosovo, September 1 and 3, 2016

In Pristina, activists have called for protests against the former Serbian foreign minister’s candidacy for position of U.N. Secretary-General. The first protest will be in central Pristina on Thursday, September 1, and a second protest is expected on September 3.

To minimize safety risk, avoid large public gatherings and demonstrations. Even peaceful situations can quickly and unexpectedly escalate and become violent.
