Riots in Amiens, France, over arrest of a man for dangerous driving

Rioters in Amiens, who were protesting the arrest of a man for dangerous driving, fired buckshot and other projectiles at police, injuring 17 police officers. Police fought back with tear gas to disperse the demonstrators. Three public buildings were badly damaged while neighbourhoods were littered with burned-out cars and the charred wreckage.
