Severe Flooding Throughout Somalia

In recent weeks, heavy rains have caused severe flooding throughout Somalia. According to figures by a UN agency, more than 273,000 people have been displaced due to flooding across the country in October alone. Floods have destroyed more than three-quarters of Baladweyne, the worst-hit area, and inundated many surrounding villages.
