Student Protests in Bangladesh

Students cross Bangladesh have been staging protests over government job quotas that they consider to be discriminatory. The protests became violent at Dhaka University on Sunday with more than 100 people injured. Large protests began on Monday and have spread to other state-run universities in Chittagong, Khulna, Rajshahi, Barisal, Rangpur, Sylhet and Savar, and some of these protests have turned violent.
