Suicide bomb attack in Mogadishu, Somalia, fails to kill president

Two suicide bombers attacked a hotel where the newly elected president of Somalia was meeting with the Kenyan Foreign Minister. While both escaped unharmed, the attack killed at least 8 people. Al Shabaab militant terrorists claimed responsibility.
