Suicide bombings south of Baghdad, Iraq

On June 9, 2017, two suicide bombings targeting civilians occurred Iraq south of Baghdad. The first hit a market in the town of Musayyib, killing at least 22 people and injuring dozens. Another attack happened several hours later in the city of Karbala at a Shiite shrine.
