Suspected typhoid fever outbreak in Guyana

At least 8 persons in Wakapoa, in Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam), are suspected to have typhoid fever. However, there is an absence of medical professionals to confirm the diagnosis and of drugs to treat it at the community health center.
