Update: Airspace Closures Across the Middle East

On 14 April, airspaces across the Middle East were closed following Iran’s drone attack on Israel. Several airlines grounded their flights or diverted them to avoid the airspace. Later in the day, Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon reopened their airspaces. Airlines like Qatar, Etihad and Emirates partially resumed operations in the region. Services may fully resume on 15 April. However, delays may be likely at major airports due to backlogged flights.

There is a risk of retaliatory attacks by Israel.
