Uruguay air traffic controllers to go on rolling strikes November 6-16, 2017

Air traffic controllers in Uruguay will start a series of rolling work stoppages that will affect both commercial and civil flights beginning on Monday 6 November from midnight to 02:00 and from noon to 14:00. Work stoppages will then take place on a rotating schedule as follows until 16 November:

• Wednesday 8 November: 02:00 to 04:00 and 14:00 to 16:00.
• Friday 10 November: 04:00 to 06:00 and 16:00 to 18:00.
• Sunday 12 November: 06:00 to 08:00 and 18:00 to 20:00.
• Tuesday 14 November: 08:00 to 10:00 and 20:00 to 22:00.
• Thursday 16 November: 10:00 to 12:00 and 22:00 to 24:00.

Advice

Flights that are scheduled during the stoppage time will be delayed, with the exception of humanitarian or health, search and rescue, emergency or state flights.
