Violent episodes in Afghanistan war

Suicide bombings targeting both civilian and military targets continue in Kabul and elsewhere. In several incidents, NATO and US soldiers have been killed by Afghan security forces recruits who turned their weapons against these soldiers.

All travel to Afghanistan should be avoided due to the on-going armed conflict and lack of any personal security.
