Women Protest Police Abuse 16 August

Women in Mexico have called for protests today in several cities across the country. In Mexico City, a demonstration will take place at the Glorieta de los Insurgentes, and also in Xalapa, Veracruz at 18:30. In Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, a demonstration is expected in Central Park, and in Puebla in front of the State Prosecutor’s Office, both at 16:00.
