詳細Alert Level Raised Again for Mayon - Albay, Philippines
On 06 January, state seismologists have raised the alert status to LEVEL III for Mayon Volcano. Evacuation orders are issued for residents within the six-kilometer permanent danger zone around the volcano due to its heightened activity. The Civil Aviation authorities have also advised against flying within 11,000 feet from Mayon’s surface, as well as in the vicinity of Kanlaon Volcano.
The alert level implies an increased tendency toward hazardous eruptions, along with a higher likelihood of lava flows
アドバイス
Observe the exclusion zone and do not engage in/conduct activities from a four-kilometer radius of the eruption center of Mayon. In case of eruption, avoid non-essential travel due to thick ash cover, low visibility, and respiratory risks. Check with the airport or your travel agent/airline to determine if your travel plans are affected. Contact the respective local authorities to better understand regulations and restrictions of the mountain area. Plan your journey accordingly to minimize safety risks and inconvenience.
