Wildfire in Kenai Peninsula, Alaska, United States - Update

The highways of the Kenai Peninsula Borough were closed due to the ongoing wildfire. It is reported that as many as 222 square miles at the south of Anchorage in the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge were burned in the wildfire, and more than 51 houses were destroyed.
