Nigeria: Supplementary and Re-run Elections for Kogi State on 30 November

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has set 30 November for supplementary and re-run elections for Kogi West Senatorial District and Ajaokuta Federal Constituency.

Travel to and within the Kogi State will be restricted on the election day. Political protests or violence is possible on the day of the election or during the counting of votes. To minimize safety risk, avoid areas of large public gatherings and all locations related to the polls. Even events intended to be peaceful can escalate unexpectedly and quickly become violent.
